Introduction
About
Robert Lundberg (b. Boston, Massachusetts) is a Hudson, New York–based documentary photographer and multimedia journalist working across photography, audio, and
long-form narrative. His practice is rooted in sustained fieldwork and community engagement, with projects that examine identity, place, memory, and the cultural
residue of music and travel.
Lundberg’s ongoing project Uncontaminated Sound functions as both an archive and a living platform-moving between portraiture, performance, and street observation-where stories accumulate into exhibitions, broadcasts, and published essays.
He is currently producing a long-form documentary project rooted in the Gulf of Maine’s working waterfront and lobstering communities.
He produces Uncontaminated Sound as a monthly radio program on WGXC 90.7-FM (launched March 2025) and as a YouTube series distributed through V13 Media. His writing has appeared in Unplug Magazine, including “Eleven Nights in Belize”
(Parts I–II, 06/2025 and 07/2025). He holds a B.S. in Criminal Justice from Johnson & Wales University and has pursued additional training through Boston University’s
Center for Digital Imaging Arts.
